Coffee in the Gallatin and Paradise Valleys
The Gallatin Valley has more coffee roasters than any other part of Montana, and most of them are in Bozeman. This page covers the rest of the valley and the Paradise Valley side: Belgrade, Big Sky, Manhattan, Ennis and Big Timber. Bozeman and Livingston have pages of their own. Roasters in the Gallatin and Paradise Valleys
Belgrade
Rocky Mountain Roasting has drum-roasted specialty coffee in Belgrade since 1992, according to its own site. Dakota and Shailyne Killgore bought it recently. We have no profile for it and do not link its site.
Big Sky
Caliber Coffee Roasters roasts in Big Sky and runs a second cafe on West Oak Street in Bozeman, according to its Roast Local listing. Treeline, which roasts in Bozeman, also runs a cafe at the base area in Big Sky.
Manhattan
Roast Local lists no roaster in Manhattan, but Red Bird Coffee of Bozeman sells its bags at L and F Market there.
Ennis and Big Timber
The Roast Local directory lists a roaster in each town. We have not read their own pages, so we do not name them here.
Bozeman and Livingston
Bozeman has Ghost Town, Treeline, Rockford, Yellowstone and Red Bird. Livingston has Blue Bean in town and RamsHead in the Shields Valley to the north.
The valleys' coffee story
Belgrade's Rocky Mountain Roasting says it has drum-roasted specialty coffee since 1992, and it changed hands recently when the Killgores bought it.
