Their story
Dark Timber is a coffee roasting company in Ennis that also builds single-serve coffee for camp and the backcountry. Alongside its bagged blends it sells pour-through packs, K-cups and trail meals aimed at hunters and hikers. The Double Barrel Blend is the darkest in the range, built from dense Latin American beans taken past full city.
G4 mixes Central American, South American and East African coffees at a medium roast, while Timberline sticks to washed Central American lots, also stopped at medium. Its Gravity Packs are single-use pour-over pouches that make about ten ounces each, sold for car camping and backcountry trips. Dark Timber says its Top Shot pods hold 12 grams of coffee, compared with the 7 grams it cites for a typical pod. It also sells a freeze-dried instant line called Vapor.
