Year one: your brand book

Every Montana ranch registers its brand with the state, and this club works the same way. Each box you receive is branded for a Montana river, and each river is longer than the last, from the 75 mile Blackfoot to the Missouri, which starts at Three Forks and runs 2,341 miles to the Mississippi. The roaster changes every box. Your card and sticker carry the brand.

How does the first free bag work?

Your first box comes with one free bag, and you pay the $7.99 shipping. After that it is $16.99 a bag plus $7.99 shipping a box. You get an email 3 days before every box, and you can skip, pause or cancel anytime. One free bag per customer: we match it by email and shipping address, and a repeat order pays full price.

How much is shipping?

$7.99 a box, whether it holds one bag or two, anywhere in the US. It is in the total you see above, before checkout. Gifts ship free.

What do you promise?

Roasted and shipped within 3 days. Free replacement if a bag disappoints. A reminder email 3 days before each box. Your ratings steer the next bag.

How fresh is the coffee?

Roasted and shipped within 3 days. Each roaster roasts your bag to order and ships it straight from their roastery.

Can I skip, pause or cancel?

Yes, anytime before the next box is roasted. A reminder email 3 days before each box means nothing ships by surprise.

How do I manage my subscription?

Every email we send has links to skip a box, pause, change your card or cancel.

What if I do not like a bag?

Free replacement if a bag disappoints. Tell us and we send a different coffee. Your rating also steers what you get next.

We like different coffee. Can we share?

Yes. Pick two bags and set the second one to a different roast: light and decaf, dark and espresso, any pair. Both come from that month's roasters in the same box.

What if I start mid-year?

Everyone starts at Box 1, the Flying B on the Blackfoot, whenever they join, and works down the book from there.

Will I get the same roaster twice?

Not in your first year. With more than 40 independent roasters in Montana, each box is one you have not had from us before.

What happens after Box 12?

You have reached the Missouri. Year two opens a second page of the book, with roasters you have not had yet. Stop anytime.

Do you ship outside Montana?

Yes, anywhere in the US. Plenty of our boxes go to Montanans who moved away.
