Their story
Husband and wife Elise and Andy Mabry run this small veteran-owned coffee shop. Andy served in the military before going into business. Elise develops the roasts and blends and hunts for new beans, while Andy spends his time behind the counter helping guests pick a drink. The couple bought the shop so they could live in Red Lodge. They roast at about 5,588 feet using an air roaster.
The range runs from Sasquatch Sunrise, a blonde roast pitched as high in caffeine, to dark roasts such as Rattlesnake Bite and Grizzly Peak. Haitian Blue is the shop's only Caribbean coffee.

House blends include Red Lodge Blend, Grizzly Peak Blend, Organic Beartooth Mountain Blend, Rocky Mountain Blend, Lewis & Clark Blend, Rattlesnake Bite, Rock Creek Blend, Crooked Tree Ranch Blend and Sasquatch Sunrise. Single origins on the list when we checked: Tanzania Peaberry, Guatemalan Roast, Organic Sumatra, Organic Mexican and Haitian Blue. Espresso: House Espresso. One house blend carries the name of Red Lodge itself, and others take mountain names such as Beartooth and Grizzly Peak. Its beans are also sold at Great American Bagel in Billings and at Gestalt Studios in Powell, Wyoming. Sales of the Crooked Tree Ranch Blend, a medium roast of South American and African beans, send 35 percent to Crooked Tree Ranch, a group that helps survivors of human trafficking. Visit Montana's press room featured the shop in a winter coffee road trip roundup, noting the couple bought it in order to live in Red Lodge.
